The larger the light, the more presence it tends to bring. And require a higher floor height.
We recommend choosing the right lampshade size for the room's floor height.
In the case of the globe-shaped akari A chandelier, for example, there are a wide range of lampshade sizes from 45cm to 120cm in diameter that you can choose from to create the space of your choice. The first thing we should consider is the effect of floor height on our space.
- If the height of the floor is 2m-3m, in order not to cause a sense of oppression, we recommend that you choose a lamp with a diameter of 75cm or less.
- If the lamp is hanging in the aisle, please ensure that the lowest point of the lampshade, at least 185cm from the ground.
- If the lamp is hung above the table, please ensure that the lowest point of the lampshade is about 70cm away from the table.
- If the floor height is greater than 3m, you can choose a 100cm or larger shade to match your space.
Please note that the following principles must be followed when installing an akari light pendant lampshade of any size:
- The exposed wire above the shade needs to be greater than 40cm.
- The length of the wire installation (the length of the wire exposed to the ceiling) needs to be added to half the height of the shade.
- The bottom of the chandelier installed over a table is usually about 70cm from the table top and the size of the shade is not recommended to exceed the narrowest edge of the table.
